About Me

My name is Tara Zulfikar and I am an Indonesian filmmaker and a recent graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Film and Television.

After graduating, I worked with the production team on the US unit of the Netflix original series Ratu-Ratu Queens. This experience made me fall in love with the world of production and the meticulous planning involved in the content we see on screen.

Since then, I have worked on narrative short films, commercials and music videos with named companies such as Netflix, AMC Networks and Epic Records.​ I also partook as Unit Production Manager on Double Happiness directed by Shari Albert (Newport Beach Film Festival, Soho International Film Festival) and as Line Producer on Vis-á-Vis by poet Mamadou Yattassaye (Creator Camp Film Festival).​

I am a production team player and work as a Producer, UPM, Coordinator and Office PA in projects of different scales. I love learning and I love a challenge. Please feel free to contact me for your next project.
